4-H Video Club

Do you like to play with cameras and computers? Get a blast out of going to public events and playing 'reporter'? How about a bit of acting? Then 4-H Video Camp/Club is just for you! "I am very pleased", said Robert Force, Director of the WSU Learning Center for the North Olympic Peninsula, "to be partnering with Jefferson 4H on this project. It is critical that youth-especially rural youth-- have the opportunity to interact with modern media in a meaningful way.

Marko Colby, Education Coordinator Sunfield Farms

Today, Marko Colby, Education Coordinator Sunfield Farms, was became the first community interviewee. Sunfield Farms has been supplying most of the ingredients for the clubs weekly soup. Next week, members of the club will add commentary to the enclosed images from the shoot.

After the shoot, club members and Marko show off their new soup bowls that were donated by Northwest Passage Thrift Shoppe (360/379-3648) in Port Hadlock.

Jefferson County 4-H builds youth leaders ages 5-19 through hands-on learning and community service. With over 300 members, 4-H is the largest youth organization in Jefferson County. 4-H is sponsored through a collaborative effort between Jefferson County, Washington State University, and over 100 local adult volunteer Jefferson County 4-H Leaders.
